About this experience

Let our canoe specialist, Dusty Molinski, guide you through some lesser explored regions of the Marsh on this two-hour evening paddle!
We’ll meet at the Wetland Discovery Centre and then make our way to Cell 1. There is a maximum of 10 boats. Plan to meet in the main visitor parking lot of the Wetland Discovery Centre at 6:30 pm. 
 
You can rent one of our canoes to join. Here is what you need to know to rent a canoe:
  • We'll provide the canoe, pfds/lifejackets, paddles, and safety equipment. 
  • You need to arrange your own paddling partner(s). Canoes are for two adults or two adults and their children. 
  • The fee is per boat, not per person. 
  • Prior paddling experience is required for those steering.
RENT A CANOE FEE IS $40 PER CANOE FOR MEMBERS AND $45 PER CANOE FOR NON-MEMBERS (LIMITED CANOES AVAILABLE)

Oak Hammock Marsh is one of North America’s birding hotspots and a great destination for people of all ages. This 36km2 Wildlife Management Area features a restored prairie marsh, aspen-oak bluff, waterfowl lure crops, artesian springs, some of Manitoba’s last remaining patches of tall-grass prairie and 30 kilometers of trails for you to explore.
