First, we cut and polish the blue glass to the appropriate size. Then, we prepare a ceramic casting mold using a spray to allow the glass to release from the mold. Next, we use coloured glass powders and frits to accent the details in the ceramic. Once the colours have been applied, we carefully place the sheet glass overtop and place the casting mold into the kiln.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe kiln fire the glass to allow the frits and the sheet glass to fuse together. The colour is the glass itself, you won’t ever have to worry about the colour fading or washing off. During the firing, the glass is annealed.
