These eye-catching earrings may look like delicate stained glass, but just like butterflies, they’re stronger than you expect. We craft fused glass jewelry from thin, transparent coloured glass, then screen print the intricate wing details and permanently kiln-fire the glass for a finish that won’t fade with time.

Choose from four magical hues: Orange for a fiery pop of joy like when you see a Monarch Butterfly flutter by, vibrant Yellow to add some sunshine to your day,  Turquoise for cool, calm, nature-loving vibes, and colour-shifting Lavender for soft, warm elegance.

Each wing measures about 1½” tall and 1″ wide, with a graceful 2½” total drop; perfect for making a statement without weighing you down. Finished with hypoallergenic stainless steel ear wires, they’re kind to sensitive ears and ready for all-day wear.

How it’s made?

We create the Butterfly Wing Earrings in multiple steps. First, we create the wing design and expose it onto a screen printing screen. Next, we cut the glass pieces to size. We print the design by hand using glass enamels. Once it dries, we inspect for quality and touch up as necessary. Then, we kiln fire the glass to sinter the design into the surface of the glass. Because of the shape of the wing, we shape the glass after the initial firing so the design isn’t washed away. Once the glass is shaped, we return it to the kiln to round the edges of the wings.

During the firing, we anneal the glass which relieves internal stress within the glass. This means the glass is strengthened, and you can confidently wear your Butterfly Wing Earrings for as long as you own the fused glass earrings.
